Rahel Zimmermann is a young researcher and doctoral student at the University of Geneva (Department of Public International Law and International Organization), where she is currently writing her doctoral thesis in international environmental law. Her research focuses on the report of the UN Secretary-General “Gaps in international environmental law and environment-related instruments: towards a global pact for the environment” and on different approaches to making international environmental law more effective. Alongside her doctorate, she works in the legal department of an environmental management consultancy.
